Sport and Exercise Psychologist in Training

I'm Hayley - a sport and exercise psychologist in training.

If you have ever felt like your relationship with sport, movement or your body has gotten complicated, this is the place to slow down and figure out why.

Lots of people think sport psychology means mental skills and sometimes it does. But often what’s really going on is more than performance, it's identity, pressure or motivation. Sometimes it's the story you tell yourself about what you are when you move, compete or stop being able to. I work with the whole person, not just the part that competes.

The person, not just the performance.

A relational space to explore identity, body and self-worth in movement — not a generic programme aimed at performance.

This isn't about fixing you

What this actually is
  • A space to understand identity beyond results
  • Honest work on body relationship and self-worth
  • A pace led by the client
  • A relational, human-centred approach
Identity

We can explore how your sport has shaped your sense of self, moving beyond performance metrics to understand the unique story you carry within your movement.

Body & self

We can create a space for honest work on the relationship between your physical self and your inner world, fostering a deeper, more grounded connection with your body.

The relationship

Our practice is built on the relational aspects of sport, creating a safe space where you can explore your movement and your place within it.

Meet Hayley

I am a trainee sport and exercise psychologist working toward SEPAR accreditation via the CASES pathway. With a background in clinical mental health and child development, I bring a relational and human-centred approach to movement. My practice is grounded in understanding identity beyond performance, focusing on the body relationship and pace led by the client.

I am dedicated to creating a space for reflection and honest exploration, helping you navigate the complexities of identity and self-worth in a way that feels safe and relational.
